Description: A beautiful old bird brooch, this is a Trifari signed swallow figural with a textured gold tone setting. Often incorrectly referred to as jelly belly, the majority of his body is semi transparent glass with gray rhinestone accents on the rest of the body and head. True jelly belly period Trifari pins had bodies that were made of lucite not glass. His eye is ruby red and the finish has virtually no signs of wear. This is one of the nicest birds of this type I have seen and he has been lovingly cared for. This bird measures 1-7/8 x 2-1/8 and he is signed Trifari on the back.
